Poetry

My poetry is often influenced by the Maumee River Valley in northwest Ohio where I grew up. I write in a variety of forms––sonnets, villanelles, triolets, sestinas, stichic narratives, and lyric free verse––to explore themes of isolation and connection, adolescence and adulthood, and my relationship with nature.
